#5. Have a handyman on speed-dial. During your "get ready to sell" process, you should look through your home with a detective eye and make a list of all the small deficiencies that you have been living with that become unnoticeable after seeing them so many times yourself.
Either hire a handyman to do small repairs or if you can do them yourself, even better!
